Engineering Trauma-Part I !!

Hola People!!
Aah Engineering....One thing that has transformed my life drastically.
What is even worse is doing it from a college that expects you to keep a minimum attendance of 100% and yes am not kidding!
The story behind the legendary min 100% attendance ::
It was just another day in the college rather in the HOD office. I and a friend of mine were called for low attendance somewhere around 41.28 (+ - 0.05 ya even that matters). Now you would have guessed our condition provided we were way behind the "100" mark.
Anyways since both of us had no other option other then going into the DUNGEON aka The Hod's Office, we gathered our courage and entered the office . HOD sitting on his Royal Chair with huge piles of PHD Books on the desk ( What other course can one do @ freaking 68 ) looks at us " Do you know the reason why you two are standing here ??". Both of us look at each other and in the most innocent possible unison say " Yes Sir!"
What followed was a series of irritating bawls and scolding. I guess the HOD was so frustrated that during the whole shouting process couple of MC-BCs were very much possible. Chalo anyways the whole fcking pt was we were asked to maintain a minimum of 100% attendance thereafter and were compelled to read the college prospectus a couple of times which proudly stated that

Every student of this college is expected to maintain a minimum of 100% attendance. Failure in doing so would result in direct detention!!

Ok i get the whole pt but WTF is "min" 100% ??. This is how weird it can get when you pursue Engg course from strict sick shitty college.
Now the best part about the 100% attendance clause :

On submitting proper medical certificate your case will be considered.

And guess what my actual attendance in this term was around 28.24% + 21 medical certificates...haha....pun intended!!

P.S: For all those who are keen to know more about me : I have been awarded 100% attendance certificate for 3 successive yrs back in my school days :P
